Selling: Seibon GTR Style Carbon Fiber Hood Functioning Vents
I'm selling a Seibon GTR carbon fiber hood. It fits the e82 1 series. Overall, I put about $2000.00 into the hood. The hood itself cost about $900, then I spent about $450 and had it professionally painted Black Sapphire Metallic. I also had the vents professionally cut to make them functional, which cost about $550. The hood was on my 135i for about 5 months before I traded it in. It is in excellent condition there is just 1 minor scratch. Please see included pictures. I'm looking to get around $800 for it but will listen to reasonable offers. Message me if you're interested. Thanks! |

That's a sweet looking hood on your car. Did you clean the hood prior to pics? Just looks really dirty between the vents/hood. Any other hardware with it?

Thanks!... No, I didn't clean it before taking the pics... I was in a hurry that day to swap the stock hood back on and get to the dealership. I'll take some new pics of the hood in a bit and post... There's no additional hardware needed. I just used the hardware that was currently being used on the vehicle.

As long as the shipping isn't ridiculously high I can do $800 shipped. I called fedex and they want to charge a freight rate for it because it’s big even though it only weighs 35 lbs. I’m going to check out the UPS store tomorrow morning. I think they might focus more on the weight of the box when deciding the rate. I’ll let you know what I find out…

Awesome hood! I had one myself. The paint looks great! I think I'll paint mine as well after I get bored of the CF look (or it yellows).
I like how to fixed the closed slats. That's on my to-do list Good luck with the sale. That's such a great price!

You may be able to ship via Greyhound Bus. http://www.shipgreyhound.com/
It cost me $50 to ship a CF hood for an E36. |
