How much for Dinan S3 1M on BAT?
I remember only a few months ago when this popped up at a Canadian dealer. It seemed like a good deal then around 50k USD (I think) with all the upgrades. I'm curious to see what it's going to go for on the BAT market.
Do you think the mods are going to hurt or help it? It's currently at $31,250 with just under 24hr left. What do you think its gonna go for? https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2011-bmw-1m-32/ |

It's at $32,000 even now.
BAT is great...however, it's a timing thing. This month the car could fetch $40K and next month it could be $55K??? Sort of a crapshoot! I'm assuming the seller has a reserve for the minimum amount he would accept. My guess is that reserve is between $50-55K |

The 1M prime market revolves around bone stock cars as being the highest value. Modified cars don't sell as well or for anywhere near as much——Dinan or otherwise.

Love it! Most likely won't go, probably has a reserve like said above.

You know, one thing that could be hurting its value here is the 4 owner carfax? Although, the 4th owner is just an investor flipping the car.....but still, 3 previous owners!
Edit: Looks like this thing is at $40K now |

Hey guys, this is my car. I imported it from Canada a few months back. Trust me, after importing fees, flights, tax, shipping, insurance etc. I would be lucky to break even. If you see the comment thread in the auction you will notice I mentioned why I am selling. Going to miss it but I do have my e46 M3 as a consolation prize. Let me know if you guys have any questions about the car - the dealership I bought it at said the first two owners were the same person but the first owner registered it to his business for tax reasons at some point. So really I am the third owner and sad to see it go so soon.

I hear you on the multiple owners! I had the same situation where the original buyer leased it first under there business and then decided to buy it as a personal car after the lease. I would recommend spelling that out in the BAT thread and also providing proof if you can. when I purchased I made sure to get a copy of lease and subsequent purchase so I have all the paperwork in the event I need to sell it. Good luck |

Sold for 47,777. That's a good deal with all the parts it has.

Not worth selling at that price. Being modified hurt it big time as well as the Canadian history (although it shouldn't). Bad sell for the seller an amazing buy for the buyer well below market value.
You should have sold the E46 M3 man! A dime a dozen those are...
