Anyone install a Short Shift Kit Yet - SSK ?

Hi,

I'm in the UK and I've just picked up my 135i and would like to get the BMW Performance SSK fitted, but with the standard M-Sport gearknob and black leather gaiter.

Two questions please:

Firstly can anybody who has had the BMW SSK fitted for a little while now please let me have their impressions as to whether the mod is worthwhile?

Secondly, has anybody retained the stock knob and gaiter with the SSK and does it all go back together ok?

I have it. I like it quite a bit. I think it is quite worthwhile, the stock shifter was a bit loose for me. More direct feel and easy to control.

You can keep the stock knob on it if you want.
