"Valvetronic system, no adaption" fault code
So after 8 plus years of absolutely faultless service my 09 128 with about 72K miles just died on Friday. Going about 40 mph I get a check engine light and it just shuts down, no limp home mode, nothing. Refuses to start after that. My trusted mechanic gets a "valvetronic system, no adaption" error code.
He tested the valvetronic motor, eccentric shaft sensor and did a re-learn of system. Car seems fine now but I am a bit freaked out. Couldn't find too much online. Anyone have a similar experience. |
