Mounting Revozport lip

For anyone that's mounted a Revozport/rep front lip, what all did you use and how has it held up? I have a two piece Revo rep and just trying to figure out the best way to mount it without issues. The car is on air ride, so not really worried about it being too low, just holding on well at speed. I planned on a ton of double sided tape and self tappers...

I've used butyl tape on my slek front splitter, held solid for multiple high speed runs.. Can be removed carefully without any sticky residue.

Should be available via your local hardware store or amazon

Love this car! Looks incredible! Have you considered Sikaflex? Its a silicone that is used for mounting windscreens! Iv used it to secure splitters and a bootspoiler and it never came off or lifted

I just bought another Boca GTS front carbon lip and rep at the company suggested I use 3M 5200 adhesive sealant and self tapping screws. Don't need to use the double-sided tape with it. I haven't used it yet but I don't think it's as messy as Betalink but it's definitely a more permanent solution like Betalink. You CAN take this stuff off with something like Anit-bond.

Thank you both! I mounted the lower lip to the upper last night using probond adhesive promoter, 3m tape and a handful of self tappers. I kept heavy pressure on the taped areas for a couple hours and the whole thing feels like one piece now, very solid. Still waiting on my carbon fang overlays (delayed by customs from germany) before I mount the front lip to the bumper. I planned on adhesive promoter, tape, epoxy, AND self tappers lol I want it to be very solid

Actually it's a vert. Just finished the vinyl wrap today. Still waiting on some parts and I need to redo a couple panels with vinyl but it's mostly there

The rear fenders are not OEM, all other 1M parts are OEM. A friend of mine made direct fiberglass copies from an actual 1M. They fit great and are super solid. I'm able to grab them and shake the whole car.

I think not having a roof and the vibrant colors really makes the hips on these pop with a rear shot. I had to stand back a little to get the full effect of them!

yep, use 8mm screws slightly longer length to count for the extra lip thickness and double sided butyl tape.

Butyl tape will work well. I would also use secondary fasteners. Stay away from self tappers. Something like 1/4-20 bolts with washers and nuts will work well if you plan on tracking the car. Self tappers can pull right out if you get enough downforce on the splitter.
