Looks like i will pull the trigger and get one, which means no more upgrades/new parts till Jan 2019 for me. Still need to install the M3 arms, RSFB and sway bars so it should keep me busy.
Since you're in Germany and are our "inside man," so to speak, would you mind checking again to see if the PE for the 135i is still being made, or is it while supplies last as well. I suspect it will be the latter.

I love mine a lot and might consider getting a spare in case something should happen to it, like an accident. Would like to know if I should do that now or can wait.

128i PE is nowhere to be found. Anyone who says they have it in the US, doesn't if you actually call. Not even any on eBay.

As i said, this is what their system is showing and they would need to do a physical check to confirm the quantity.

For the N54/N55 engine the Performance exhaust is €799,99 and NO indication that is it "while stocks last", i would need till Monday to call and see just how many they have.

I pulled the trigger and ordered the N52 Performance exhaust for my 125i, along with M Performance front black kidney grills (they look awesome on Alpine White cars ^^).

I can not say for the US or even European market in general, only what is available locally in Germany. Im also interested in the M Performance front splitters, but they are sold out and no longer available at least here in Germany.

Thanks in advance for checking. May just pull the trigger and order today.

A quick check shows ECS has it for $790.77. Turner has it for $785.12. Don't see it on fcpeuro.com.

Anybody see it cheaper? P/N 18102208806. Thanks

$765.80 at BMW Northwest parts online.
But $100 "fixed" shipping.

$778.78 @ Tischer.

Good luck!

Co-worker just got an Alfa 4C and is looking to sell his "Year 1" 1 with PE. But it was on there when he bought it, so I'm sure he's not looking to part it out.

Went to the dealership today to get some turn signal sockets and bulbs to replace the burned out one causing my 381 and 122 ccid. Swapped them out and the issue continued and burned another socket. Looks like I’m replacing a headlight this weekend. Might as well order a new intercooler since the bumpers coming off. *shrugs*

How much work would it be to install this setup on a 128? Is it just a matter of pipe diameter mismatch and therefore some welding and/or reducing couplers? Or is it more complex than that?

That's pretty much it. I'd have them modify the 128i pipes bolt up to the flange on the 135i muffler, that way you have FAR more options if you ever want more sound...

Wait I don't think he meant for brake fluid as well. That's just doing it wrong even with a new one lol think he meant he'll do it as well, but the right way

There was a seller on eBay that had one last MPE for $730 shipped but I decided to buy from my local dealership for $763, rather give some more money to my local guy to handle the shipping directly with BMW in case something happened and also to keep the good relationship I have with them.

I think the reduced price is while stock lasts.

Yes, that's the exact part number. The price OTD was actually $763.

Just ordered a spare from getbmwparts.com for $781.73 which includes tax and free shipping.

If I never use it I'll probably be able to sell it when it becomes NLA and make my money back.

Edit: $781.73 includes handling and free shipping, no tax - my mistake.

For the N52 E82 my dealer jacked up the price from €599 to €799 "while stock lasts", then i checked again and saw €788 for it....so yeah i was hovering over to get one or not, then i decided to do the M3 arms, sway bars and RSFBs as more important that the PE.

The PE is the best upgrade I've made to my car. That, plus the burbling effects of the PPK are totally addicting. Wouldn't want to be without it, especially when the part will soon be NLA. Have always loved the sound of a good exhaust and to me the car would sound boring without it.

Glad I bought the spare. No buyer's remorse here. On the contrary, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy lol. It means guaranteed availability should something happen that damages the one on my car now. And I'm sure I wouldn't have any problem selling it down the road if I wanted to.

You did good. If I had space for more spare parts I would get another.

I just sold my stock M2 muffler but still have so many parts from it and from the 1 series I just can't hoard more

Almost makes me wish I would've bought some other Performance parts before they became "no longer available" as well. Notice I said almost. lol
