Catch can - RB turbo external vs. Bms vacuum kit

Is there any material performance difference between an RB external pcv kit and the revised Bms vacuum side kit?

These both seem to do the same thing and attach to the same areas of the pcv system.

Some threads seem to claim the rb turbo kit with mishimoto can collects a significant amount more oil than the bms but it is not clear if this statement is relevant to the new or old bms kit.

Which if the two kits perform better or are they the same ??

I have only had the BMS vacuum side kit so I can't really give the comparison you're looking for. But overall I've had no real issues with the kit, it collected a lot of oil even when my headports were still open. It now collects even more now that I've blocked them. (Probably have to empty it once every 3 months)

To compare it to the BMS boost side, I don't think I have ever had to empty this catchcan over almost 5 years.

Just be aware that if you live in a colder climate, the system will also catch a lot of condensation so you will have to empty the can a lot more often in the colder months (around once a month for me.)
