So, I recently changed my rod bearings for king calico coated rod bearings, I did it because I had an oil pan gasket leak and I had doubts on the condition of them. They were on a good condition and didn't needed change, this leads me to believe that rod bearing failure is not gradual but rather a sudden oil pressure loss.

So I started reading my oil pressure and it sits around 2400-2600 hpa (around 34-37 psi) on full operating temp at idle, I have read that the correct oil pressure at idle should be 40+ is this correct? Normal idle without reaching operating temp is around 37-39 psi....

Hi
I would also like to know the normal idle oil pressure, mine sits about 37-38 at operating temp.
