Bird hates BMWs, delivers payload
OK, so I am doing errands this afternoon in my less than 1 month old 135i, come home, go out 1 hour later, and find the largest volume of bird poop on my car and around it that I have ever seen. At first I thought it was vandalism. Then the smell dispelled any notion of that.
I live near a large body of water (house is 1/4 mile from SF Bay), and there is a lagoon near hear. This had to have been a goose, possibly a pelican. I made a quick trip to the local hand wash car wash, no harm done. I have never seen such a large and direct hit as this. |

They probably saw your sparkling new blue car and mistook it for a pond, aka their toilet

I got one of these a month after my new car.
Hot day. Stained the paint. BMW's paint leaves something to be desired IMHO. If it was over 80deg. and you left that on for an hour or so... It would have been bad... Glad to hear it is ok! Ps. nice blue. |

LOL. The thing about birds is they can't control their bowel movements (I know it's true of many birds, not sure about ALL). So if they all ate at the same time, they would probably all digest at similar rates and would drop around the same time. Amazing really!
