Leak in AC
Does anyone have an idea how to repair an AC leak without replacing all the piping? I've found where the leak is but I don't know how to repair it ! Thanks ![IMG][/IMG]

Pipe #3 was replaced a few years ago in my 128i due to a leak.

The dealer did it. Total cost including evacuation and recharge was about $700.
The original plan was for the dealer to replace the evaporator, but they found the leaking pipe and replaced it. I was pleased with the idea of saving thousands on the repair compared to replacing the evaporator. It is still leaking, and probably still needs a new evaporator.
