Sirius Installation Advice

I had Best Buy install my Stilleto 1 yesterday. They did a nice job -- clean install on the left side of the dashboard. The only problem is that they ran the antenna to mount right above the middle of the windshield on the outside of the car. It looks terrible in my opinion. They offered to move it inside the car or elsewhere. Does anyone have advice as to the best place to mount the antenna?

I put mine inside the car centered on the rear parcel shelf close to the window stuck on with a two sided mounting tape - it works great. It is mostly invisible, especially with the rear sunshade. You can also get an adapter cable to plug it into the shark fin.

I just helped a friend run an extension antenna cable into the trunk of his E90 and tapped into the shark fin via the pre-wired SAT harness under the trunk carpet. I believe it's the same in the 1er.

It is the same. I have a 16' extension for my portable XM unit. Once XM channels are available on Sirius, I'll get the BMW unit.
