Dressage.

And GB won Gold in both the individual and team events.

I agree though, that I'm not convinced it's an Olympic Sport.

No problem with Kayaking tbh, but, no way should rhythmic gymnastics or syncronised swimming be an Olympic sport

The summer games have a lot of sports that are summer versions of the real sports from the winter Olympics.

Field Hockey and rhythmic gymnastics come to mind. (Hockey and Figure skating)

Not sure if you guys caught some of the car related items with the Olympics? Just came back a few days ago and thought I'd share some pics & videos:

Mini Coopers retrieving the ball from the Hammer Throw. At first they where just driving around the field and figured it was some kind of promotion, but where surprised to find the true use.

BMW did have a very concerted presence in the Olympics.

They where the Shuttle for the Athletes, Families & Officials - Must of been hundreds BMW's in various models/colours driving around London. They where permitted to use the Olympic Lanes.

The Russians where using Audi's.

Bolt winning the 100m race

Bolt celebrating with the Olympic Mascot

Ha! My wife and I noticed the Mini's but I had no idea they were actually serving a purpose out there. That's pretty awesome!

I think I'll be hitting my fellow members up for some advice on setting up a proxy for streaming when the winter olympics come. I'm very disappointed in NBC for the hack job they turned the olympics into.

BBC's coverage was phenomenal and most up it is still up on their website .. (which takes a little work to access from N. America) but worth the effort.
