Touch up paint wheels
Tire dealer put a bad scuff on one of my wheels when installing my new tires. Anyone know a source for touch up paint for BMW alloy wheels

My wheels were refinished on my CPO and I didn't know it. I ditched the RFT's and 3 of my CS7 gunmetal wheels had paint damage in the process! America's Tire sent a wheel repair company to me and repaired all three at my work. The base coat was fine, so it was the silver, then clear coat. They matched the color perfectly.
9 months later, I curb rashed one wheel and had them out to repair my wheel. I had him completely clean all 4 wheels, resurface 2, repair my rash (all the way to metal) and spot correct the other 2. Now 4 wheels are perfect. $60 a wheel for a refinish... $150 for 3 hours of work. Use a professional to fix your paint. They will match the color and there will be no blemishes or bubbles. If they are good, it will look good as new. Next time you have tire work, make sure they protect the lip of your wheels. Masking tape should help! |

Having a professional do it is certainly the best idea but if the mark is small and you still want to do it yourself, you can try To touch up with Mercedes Benz silver, that is the closest color to alloy rims. You can see a slight difference very close but it the meantime it protects your scratch mark...

Wish I could find a company like that in the middle of PA. Dealer ruined the rears and one front has minimal curb damage.
