Snow Tires installed :) Just in the nick of time.

Well, its just starting to snow in NY. Just installed winter tires that used to be on my brother's 330CI. The tires are Bridgestone Blizzak WS-50 Studless (225/45/17 all around) mounted on OEM BMW M68's (7.5" {41 offset} front & 8.5" rear {50 offset}). Fitment is perfect, no problems. In taking off my stock wheels and tires, my wheel lock broke from BMW overtightening them the last time they replaced my tires {from RFT bubbles and nails}! So... the guy at the shop had to pull some crazy move to get them off without drilling or cutting them. Took him all of 8 seconds per wheel. Goes to show that the wheel locks aren't all that 'secure' and that if someone who knows how to get them off wants them off, they're coming right off, no problem. Anywho... pictures below. (ride is 10x softer now w/ the RFT's off, but dry traction is awful w/ JB3 (MAP 6/7).

And yes, the wheels are very dirty. I know. Overall, the wheels don't look half bad for snows.....

I got my snows on yesterday, just in the nick of time as well, haha.

those rims are really nice, especially for snow rims! i like them. better than the style 141 rims i got with my snow tires (though i'm starting to like mine more the more i think about them)

also, it's nice to know about the wheel locks..
