F/S: Set of Snow Tires and Wheels (Nokian Hakkapeliitta - 225/40/18 x 4)

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Up for sale is a set of snow tires. Ignore thread title. Wheels not included. Sorry for confusion.

They are Nokian Hakkapeliitta's Studded (retail at $250+ each)

Tire Size: 225/40/18 x 4 (These fit on the stock 264 18's)

-2 tires have approximately 8-9/32 and 2 have approx 7-8/32.
-No patches at all

Located in NYC (can meet you within 30 miles). I will ship these only if buyer pays shipping. Local Pickup Preferred.

These are basically the best winter tires you can buy. Never get stuck in the snow or ice again, even with RWD.

Asking $350 (just lowered even further - lowest possible price - need to sell ASAP) PM ME!

Check them out:

No problems at all. I have also had a set of Blizzak WS50's on my 330ci's stock 8.5 wheels without a problem. (225 is the lowest you can go on a 8.5")

You drive on these all winter long? I thought studded tires would be really uncomfortable on clear streets.

Yes. All winter. Don't put many miles on them. They do make a slight noise, but it's completely bearable. I have taken them to 110+ mph. Completely safe. The record topspeed for snow ice was set on nokian tires.

Do you have any pics indicating wear or anything? Interested, but not interested enough to drive to the forgotten borough to check them out.
