ROCK Storm hit my ONE!

I was driving yesterday and a dump truck passed me going the other way and at least three rocks hit my 135i, as best I could tell, only on the windscreen.

The noise was very loud and there was no way I could turn around to get the truck's plate or company info.

I finally get home and find the rock stike on the windscreen next to the rear view mirror and also on the trim above it. A few minutes later I finally find the worst - a huge chip on the quarter panel next to the head light.

Should I have the body shop touch it up or do the chip kits work OK?
