I am little surprised, but if you're able to get it at ED price, then lucky you.

If you can't find a place in Milwaukee to do it, our dealer in Minneapolis will.

Yup, it wasn't even a discussion. ED MSRP was always available with my SA.

It's 7% less than MSRP
7% off the base price of the vehicle, but the options cost the same on both regular and ED.

SA = Sales Associate

No, I got it at ED MSRP, not invoice. Starting is $33,175 (includes the 775 D&H). That's 7% off the US MSRP.

EDIT: Oh, I see now that he got it close to Euro INVOICE... sorry, chimed in without reading it closely enough.

I believe the official nonmenclature BMWNA uses is:

Client Advisor (CA or salesperson)

Service Advisor (SA)

Help for newbie

:iono:

I have fallen in love with the 1, and just got a price on the conv - can anyone tell me if this is a good deal? Only 1 BMW dealer in Rochester, so......
128i Covertible - premuim package, cold weather package, automatic transmission and satellite radio

Local Deliver: $39400
ED Delivery: $37000

Husband and I are planning trip to England in June, so could "swing by" munich to pick up the car on the way, so we have it to tool around while on vacation.

Also, heard there are deals with Lufthansa for ED purchases - is that correct? Any other tips you might have?

Thanks!

Jo

Welcome to 1Addicts, Jo! Those prices sound about right and you should have a great time doing ED with the car.

Jo, there's information on the Lufthansa Two-for-One program that is done in conjunction with BMW's ED program. You can find out more info here at the BMWUSA website.

When I did my ED, the cost savings in using the that program was not as great as purchasing two discounted tix with another airline. So, be sure to shop around.

You might want to do an open-jaw flight, and fly into Munich, pick up the car, and drive it to the UK, use it while there and drop it off at the dropoff point at Bournside Services in London. You'll be able to have a fantastic car and save on car rental fees...

Why did I just read 3 pages on floormats when the title of the thread is about European Delivery? can't you guys keep the OT stuff to a floormat thread instead of filling this up with speculative garbage? I am still unsure if ED will be offered this year on the 135i. I just decided I will like to do it if it's available but it seems as though it will not.

If your dealership is not allowing for ED, check with some of the other ones. It most deffinately is available, as a number of us already have Dates and ED packets in hand.
