KW's are undoubtably a premium quality product, you would be happy with these, either V1 or V3 (v2 arent worth the extra over the V1 IMO)
Bilstein and H&R both good... ST and AP made by KW so both decent for budget kits..
... wouldnt touch anything other.... the rest are mostly chinese tat

Get the ST, KW quality, just without the stainless bodies.

I have and track the ST XTA very hard and often. They are the best value out there and excellent quality. Damping is great and ride quality is solid. I’m on stiffer springs now and admittedly I just put them on tonight and went for a shake Down drive... no sweat.

If the car is driven in winter, see's rain, salt, ice etc that maybe an issue in the future.

I am on KW V3s and i can say that they are firmer than stock but comfortable.

One needs damper/bump control when you see different tracks, rebound is not really enough (to a degree).

They costed me €2,500 including new front and rear mounts (OEM), installation, alignment and TÜV registration (local German law). KW Dealer removed the alignment pins and was able to get -1.7 camber front. The car is maybe 5mm lowered (it was set at stock height, but after the suspension settled it is just a tad lower). No M3 arms or any other mods to get that camber up front.

From what i read, the Ohlins are damn close to the V3s, but the KW ones have stiffer springs (i believe) and some do not like them on road (just fine if you ask me), but that is coming from the E90 section.

Currently have eibach pro springs with BMW sport shocks. Its time for new shocks and I'm also doing a suspension refresh....anyways, my questions is that I'm currently running 245/35/19 in the back and the clearance is just barely the minimum for me not to scrape....does anyone know with maximum height, would B14s be at least as high as my eibachs (all I'm trying to find out is if I can clear those rims) I'm asking because different websites have different estimates of how much drop it gives from stock suspension, and wasn't sure if anyone knows

Doing a revision with YCW reference rears next few days. Lots of good tech out there.

If looking at KW, definitely just go ahead and get ST.

Absolutely.

Have KW V3 on my Civic which is my winter/track slut car. Perfect for what I need. Soften them up for winter, firm them up for the track. Not worried about winter salt. And I live in the city with the highest winter salt use in the world.

Yes, but they are not known for lowering the car much. That's because lowering a lot is for looks not handling.

All I'm saying is that the Ohlins R&T are really quite fantastic, but they are neither inexpensive or for lowering. Handling & grip they make a vast improvement with the right springs.
