M Sports leather steering wheel with paddle shifters?
So, I just bought me a new 2013 128i fully loaded with STEPTRONIC automatic transmission, and I have the option to add the Sports leather steering wheel with paddle shifters for free. My question is since I am getting it automitic, should I add the paddle shifters? I dont think I would need them, so I am trying to see what are all the pros and cons for this.
For one, if I do get the shifters with the automatic transmission, is there a way to switch between the two? |

Ummm, its free....sooooo why not?
I literally cannot think of a reason why you wouldnt get them if its free, lol. Yes, it switches back and forth from the paddles to just being auto. You can click a paddle and downshift and use them if you want, and then as soon as you wait a bit without using it it goes back.
