Quality double slat grilles

Good grilles seem hard to come by, especially since OEM versions of these don't exist. I need a nice set with clips that don't break within a month. It's embarrassing when these things start falling out. I've looked at Bimmian, ECS, BodMargains, AutoTecknic, JBspeed, WRcarbon, no luck. Eurocustomspr has them but they seem shady. There's always a few on Amazon but they're all the same junk. Any solid links? Preferably no M colors. Thanks.

Side question; is it possible to use the clip ring from the OEM and transfer to the double slat insert?..

Could always get some cheap ones, take the bumper off, and secure them with a plastic rivet or zip ties from the inside.

Just curious but did you misspell “BodMargains” on purpose?

I picked up a pair of matte black grills from them. They are legit.

I may end up zip tying but as a last resort. Regardless I want another set to replace my current colored ones.

Try and post it spelled properly, haha. 2 others as well. I'm going for gloss. My OEMs are sprayed matte, and look good, but not what I'm going for. Quality single slats are easy to find, double not so much.

Asking out of curiosity, what's the difference for your aesthetic goals between single and double slats? I'm gonna buy some new grills soon, was gonna get single slat anyways.

Fair enough. If you end up finding a decent pair of double slats, feel free to shoot a link my way.

Has anyone jerry-rigged a cheaper version to stay put? Might buy a pair and call it a day

A couple folks have tied them.

I agree with OP, I wish someone made better ones that fit tight like the OE grills, every seller has the same garbage that can be pulled out with your fingers.

I haven't lost a grill and mine don't come out when I close the hood. If/when that occurs, I'll probably put the flat black single slat BMW Performance ones back in.
