Black side markers availavle yet?

Hey all, I hope everyone is enjoying their 1M! Anyway I just installed the OEM Blake gloss shadow kidneys, and now I am on a serious hunt for the black, gloss side marker indicators. Does anyone know if they are available yet?

You can get them de-chromed and painted at a good bodyshop, these are mine and i think they look pretty good.

Biglare! Stega pointed me directly to pictures of your car as a reference, and also recommended IND for the work. I am waiting to hear back from my dealer on getting another pair so I can ship them out to get the work done. Your car is phenomenal! So clean, and so unique.

Yeah IND does all my color matching parts on the 1M and the M3. I had the dealer remove the 1M's side markers and grills before I took delivery and sent them to IND. I believe that the side markers should be removed from the back or you may risk breaking some of the clips. Two months ago the parts were not available and that's why I used my original side markers.

I don't have the removal process, but you can kind of tell how to remove based on my install pics.

Check out my install thread here: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=536883

I posted a removal in the other Black Sidemarker Thread.

Basically grab the top and bottom of the sidemarker and push the sides together.
Start pulling out slowly, and the back side of it will pop out. Then slide the sidemarker backwards, and the front side (where the M emblem is) will pop out.
