135i N55 H&R Super Sport Springs and Eibach Sway Bars Install

Whats up guys! Was finally able to get around starting working on my car. First decided to go ahead and address the suspension for now and went with the H&R Super Sport Springs along withe Eibach Sway Bars. Install was pretty straight forward nothing crazy other than getting my finger sliced with the sharp metal protector behind the brake rotor, lol. Attached are a few pics I was able to get during install. We'll try to get more posted when time permits. Installed was Performed at Dynamic Turbo in Miami.

That is a clean shop! Nice drop btw! Did you have the m-sport suspension or just stock suspension before installing the springs?

Nice drop, just be ready for those shocks to go out earlier than normal.

Thanks! M-Sport. Rides just a tad stiffer than stock. Very happy with the setup

Yeah absolutely, I can see that in the near future.

This seems to be a common tale spread among various car forums, however I have lowered several cars on springs alone, and never once have I worn through a set of shocks. From Mazda RX-7's, Mini Coopers, BMW's, and most recently a B8 S4, not a single one has had a shock wear prematurely. I put 70,000 miles on that S4, including a healthy amount of track time with stock dampers and H&R springs, and it rode just as smoothly as it did the day I bought it.

In short, I think this is a myth perpetuated by folks who want to harp on others for not buying coilovers. Unless you plan on putting 140,000 miles on your car, springs are just fine for 99% of the folks out there.

LOL and I could provide the same anecdotal evidence that says otherwise. And I have a set of coilovers on my other cars so I'm not biased by any means. Clearly ymmv...
