Remember, hood and trunk will fit any 1 series. Not just the 1M for those who are curious.

Would also like to see the parts painted, the rear diffuser bothers me, I don't like to see the muffler through it, it should be lower to hide it...
Love the two tone skirts!

Am I wrong on my deduction that the "Single Sided" vs "Double Sided" weights are reversed?

To me single sided = just the skin panel for max weight reduction. Very light, but not very rigid.

Double sided = skin panel + under structure to mimic or exceed the stock part's rigidity.

Please correct me if I'm off in my understanding of the build-up.

Single= Top carbon and under structure frp
double= Top and under structure carbon.

Every company does it this way.

Single sided means that Carbon is used on the outside visible part(trunk area you see when trunk is closed). Double means it is used on the inside as well(trunk area that you see when you open a trunk). If you choose single then the inside would be made out of a black epoxy or whatever material the manufacturer uses in the mold. But if it's double then it gets rid of that material and uses Carbon instead which is lighter. Also what Spyder562 said lol.

Here is the inside of the trunk if you do double sided carbon

Ok, I guess I was thinking about race parts, which are usually done the way I was thinking.

Personally ask slek this question last week. They answered by saying they wanted a clean look but vented hood might be coming soon. When the iCarbon one came out, people were saying how good it would look without vents. Now when Slek makes one without vents, everyone wants vents.

There personal car was not painted because they wanted to show all the parts in CF first. HP Autowerks car will have a paint hood and trunk.

I was part of there build for test fitting and bought a 2x2 diffuser myself which matches BMW performance parts. Side skirts and hood coming soon.

Here is some iphone pics

After comparing this diffuser and the Revozport I think I'm going to go with the Revo because of the larger fins.

Would love to see some "OEM" carbon pieces from a quality manufacturer in addition to these pieces. How about a 8lb double carbon trunk that looks factory and a 12lb double carbon hood??

Doesn't Seibon have a OEM-style carbon fiber trunk?
