135i Door Actuator Replaced!
Hey everyone I did this last weekend and couldn't find a single video online on how to do it!
I used this video from a E90 335i that was almost identical except for one major problem lol... On the 135i the window regulator gets in the way so you cant pull out the actuator from the actual door! The way to do it is to just unbolt the two 10mm nuts on the bottom of the door and the top 10mm nut that sits at the top of the regulator. You don't actually have to pull the regulator off, but by taking the nuts off the regulator you will be able to push the regulator out of the way just enough to slip the door actuator out and put a new one in! It took me minutes to do take off and put the new actuator on! But it took me an hour and a half to figure out how to pull the actuator out! So hopefully this saves people a lot of time! |
