That would barely fit. Might rub a little on stock suspension, depending on tire choices, load in the car, etc. If you lower it will rub front and rear and require fender mods.

They are the same size and offsets as the VMR VB3 CSL replica wheels which are available.

Have a look here and it should give you an idea of how they look on a 1er offset wise

http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...ght=csl+wheels

I think if lowered you will need some fender work

This guy is running 19" Beyerns on his 1-series, don't know if the offset is the same as the 18".

I hope he was not looking at something else. Well, who to believe. I didn't want to risk it and potentially add more unsprung weight. The 128i stock 17s are already 22.5 lbs. When you factor in the additional weight of wider tires, that's a lot of extra weight to be asking our non-turbo engines to move around quickly. Also, others have mentioned in past years that the clearcoat was kind of thin.

If weight is not a concern then the Beyerns are very nice wheels given if the clearcoat issue has been addressed. It has a nice lip and looks sharp.

Can you tell me how wide the lips are and whether you've had any issues with them?

I don't think theres definite answers to any product. It's all about user reviews. And as far as I have heard, they are decent wheels. The fact that they are BMW exclusive is also a plus. Hope that helps.

well i've heard that they will rub and then again i heard they are just fine. I dont know who to believe. Its like everyone thinks they are an expert. Take the weight issue for example, dont u think that the weight of the wheels should be the same instead of some people saying 19lbs and then some people saying 27lbs?

Oh, you meant good as far as fitment and weight? LOL, I thought you meant as in quality, fit and finish. Why don't you contact the supplier or manufacturer?

Here's the specs, not sure if you've seen it yet. http://www.beyernwheels.com/BMW_whee...n_typemesh.php
I doubt they fit perfect. There isn't even a 1er category in the configurator portion of their site. IMO if you took the plunge and needed some minor work to get them to fit, you wouldn't be doing anything that most others haven't had to do. It's worth the squeeze if you ask me. There aren't to many other options for the 1er ATM.
