I have a 2012 bmw 128i and recently pulled the dash out to do the heater core/box and after putting it all back together the stereo will not play anything. I have been able to use a cd and it will play just fine but when using the stereo it does not play anything and has a clicking noise like the touching speaker wires together. I am also unsure if this wire has something to do with it, it is the 1 wire i have not been able to locate where it goes.

That seems to be the USB Port connector at the center console .
You have Radio Professional with USB ?
