225/40 R18
Will 225/40 18 on front work with OE 245/35 18 on rear? thanks in advance
Well this story has a happy ending. Guy selling 4 tires: 2x225/40 R18 and 2x245/35 R18. I want the 45's, not really the 225's. Make him a low offer on the 45's and he accepts so I'm very happy. The guy evidently had a lot of interest in the 225's and none (till me) on the 45's. He knows he will now be able to easily sell the 225's, possibly for more than I paid for the 45's. Everyone wins. Well the 225/245 combo. would have worked perfectly. What are you trying to do?

OK, so the stock Sport Pkg. staggered setup (in Canada). Well, that'll work. It's going to understeer of course. If you use 225's on the front that'll help a little.
