CRT lip and damage

So,I was trying a new map on the jb4 and it worked well, well enough that I was at a very healthy speed before I thought of the crt lip mounted I had just purchased used and mounted, I was concerned that one end kept trying to separate slightly from the bumper, I was concerned about the way it was mounted and planned to redo this asap. The leading edge separated and got some decently bad road rash from dragging the leading edge on the asphalt, I am pretty bummed, just took it off as I should of as soon as I was suspicious. I'm hoping that I get some good ideas on repair and get it back on but not fond of a rashed up piece if noticeable at all. Ill post up some pics for advise as soon as I'm near a computer and hopefully the consensus is get it back on with a better mounting job. In the pictures I'm functionally concerned of one place on the leading edge that it wore through the carbon creating a hole and the drag that may create, as well as simply the cosmetics of the damage, it was purchased used and all the underside scrathches were there, just the front edge is my doing, I've had some bad luck with the 1M recently... Thanks for any advice.
Spencer

Pictures

Sorry for the delay on pictures, just looking for ideas on repair, if its a good idea or bad idea funstionally to ermount it etc. I plan to attempt to clean it up and clear coat the damaged part and remount and see how it looks but if anyone has repair ideas or a place in so fla that they recommend let me know. Long term I think I'll need a new one but maybe I'll be happy once repaired and on the car, for reference the end with an obscene amount of double sided tape was the side pulling off:

Fiberglass patch it from behind, fill it, and paint it black. You don't need a new one.

Lips break. It just happens and is nothing to be embarrassed about.

I don't think you will be able to patch the cf without stripping a large portion of the front end of the lip... Since it is a small area you might be able to resin it again then wet sand the areas you don't like and re apply clear cost on specified areas making sure to not hit the cf areas and risk more fray..

Popped off at the top of 4th hear and was only on by the bolts, not a great situation, just sucks, I had a large lack of confidence in the mounting and should've listened to my gut. Was lazy though and thought it'd stay on until I had a chance to remount it. That was dumb.
