I really want one.
I don't get all the negative posts on the car. It looks great, has a focused suspension, huge brakes for a 3300 lb car, and anyone who thinks 340 hp is underpowered is a much more capable driver than myself. An E46 M3 is still quite a quick car, and this car will beat it in a foot race. Could be the huge hp cars in the current marketplace scewing everones views. That said... I would like a silver one

Anyone noticed there's equal if not more amount of condensation coming from the right pipes? Too soon to start making assumptions?

The more I look at this car, the more I like it. So quirky.

I'm loving this thing, it sounds great. I just can't figure out a color. I need to see Valencia in person before I make a decision.

i see this car getting some bad rep on other forums for the looks and i don't see why. The rep should be build on its performance and not looks like some forums are doing. They are quick to call it ugly and refuse to acknowledge its performance and capabilities. i for one think the thing is a beauty ((i also think the speed3 looks good so thats not saying much))

BMW may not have made it, but I don't think you can just call them up and say "I'd like to get a closed-room video produced of your just-released 1M." it's just another piece of hype which they gladly facilitated.
don't get me wrong, i really like the car. i don't think it's "ugly" or flat-out slow or anything like that... the real point is that for how expensive it'll be, if people have to ask themselves if it's worth buying, that probably isn't job done best even it it is job well done. at $47k plus options, taxes, fees, etc, i would much rather get into an M3. now that they're saying it will be limited production, i'm sure the price point will be high, but it won't matter because they'll sell them all. |
