Hey guys, I am looking to put style 269, 19 inch OEM rims with OEM P zero run flats on my stock 135i.
wheel and tire specs are: 225/35/19, ET37 in the front and 255/30/19, ET39 for the rear. will they fit if I don't do any mod or fender work? |

I would be willing to bet you would rub on the rear with those tires and offset. It might not always rub but over large dips and with a heavy load (ie: people, luggage) it will rub. I suspect it would be the outside of the fender well. Below 40 offset is pushing it with no fender modification.

was hoping that it will run on smooth roads. it's not my DD anymore, so I think I might take the chance and try it. if they rub, do you think using slightly narrower tires would help a bit or its the rims that are sticking out? |

A stretched tire will most definitely help. If it's not your daily driver then by all means take that swing. Post pics when you get them slapped on there.

Wheels: VMR V803 Tires: Continental Extreme Contact Sport Springs: BMW Performance Sport Shocks: Koni Yellow Suspension Linkage Front/Rear: Modified/Stock Front Wheel: 19x8.5 ET45 Tire: 225/35R19 Wheel Spacer: None Suspension Linkage: 1M Coupe control arms and sway bar, 5mm strut spacer. Rear Wheel: 19x9.5 ET57 Tire: 255/30R19 Wheel Spacer: 5mm Suspension Linkage: Stock Notes Alignment Specifications: Stock Front: No body modifications or panel re-alignment. Front tires rub on fender wheel arch. This is more prominent when experiencing suspension compression while turning. Rear: No body modifications or panel re-alignment. No rubbing but it is very close. When a portion of a fender liner was not seated in the fender lip, that rubbed under moderate compression. Last edited by JPCrotty; 10-08-2018 at 12:40 PM.. |

One question. It rubs/rubbed on the inside or outside of the rear? |

@ Matt@EuroJerks,
It rubbed on the outside of the rear tire only while the fender liner was misplaced. Once I popped the fender liner back in to where it is meant to be, everything has been fine. I have had two adults in the back and gone through some heavier compression's and haven't heard a thing. I have debated if I can fit a Michelin Pilot Supersport of the same size on the rear but am not sure it will clear as its tread width is .9" wider. Just a part of the multitude of decisions that led to the result. |

You will need a fair bit of camber, but on my car it fits flawlessly with no rubbing. -Mark

Thanks! They are not coated as VMR produced them. They have been refinished with the goal of matching the finish of the silver window trim. I did that for the sake of aesthetic continuity through limiting the number of different colors on the car.

Using the second link, you can find the recommended tire sizes. Note that there are a few options for 18's intended for a front wheel that vary by tire manufacturer. The rears only have one size option. |
