you would probably need to cut the stock ones and extend them with more plastic. When I had my ER front end I modified 1m liners to work. It was a pain.
Any other options? Would an invisibra work if layed over the inside of the fender flare?

its going to be one of those subjects where you wont make everyone happy. but i do think the tuningerks style would work riveted. using your imagination it would end up something like this(colormatched) :

heres a decent side shot:

you will need a plastic or something to close the gap. When you chop your fenders you will essentially be chopping off your outer fender liner mounting points. Its not a huge deal or that complicated. When you chop it you will know what I mean. Most people with LB kits do not use fender liners at all.

guess it depends on final outcome of what the product looks like, waiting on sketches or any material from the companies, if any of the companies were close they could have my car for the winter

This is for the fronts correct? The rear inner fender liner is metal I believe, so that would be the same process, just would have to be welded to fit

This is for both.

The rear fender liner on the 135i is cloth and the 1M has a plastic liner similar to the fronts.

I welded metal to close the gap on my cars custom rear widebody and then painted a rubberized coating on it to seal it. I later went 1m rear liners and covered over it.

Is all of this still significantly less labor intensive than an OEM widebody kit?

so got a message back from ignition and they told me the kit that 135i is running is actually running the rocket bunny kit made for the 180/240sx kit which is the pink one i posted. i think thats the kit im going to run it has a few things that have to be done (fiberglass wise) but doesnt seem like a lot of extra work so i think im going to try it. Contacted greddy to see if they have the kit in stock to mock up onto my car to see how much work it will really be. ill keep everyone posted on this!

If you get the one with all body parts... The one with over fenders only is 8-900, without been looking for a deal.

the rocket bunny kit for just the fenders is 1000$ that kit has to be special ordered. greddy has no idea when they will be getting more but i found a company (autohance.com) that if you order this week can get the fenders mid january so i ordered one today.

I may order one up too if I can find out how much modification was necessary. Also need to get in touch with a shop that can manage it.

So how many companies are making these? Also this would require different wheels set up for wider tires and offsett

What wheel and tire setup are you (tentatively) going with?

i also sent another message to ignition to see what that guy is running on his 1 series. i know they are work 3 piece wheels but knowing the specs of it would really help ha

someone is going to have to leave there car at one of the shops willing to make a kit and get a mold of the fenders so they can get a production line going

im rigging a rocket bunny kit made for the 180sx onto my car, and will let everyone know in the next month or so how much extra work it will be
