This past Sunday I headed up to Wasaga Beach (a very popular beach here in Ontario)

My local car group, BMW TRUE NORTH set up a route that was just about 150 miles, it consisted of quite a lot of twisties and all back road driving so there was no traffic at all.

Besides myself there was about 70 other bmws. It was one of the best drives I have had!

The local law enforcement shut down the beach strip parking and as we got there we all were allowed to have some very nice front row parking to show off our club. We had a bit of a tailgate bbq and were giving away food to people who walked by and asked!

Opened my headlights and installed new lenses and lci from a pair of euro halogens.

Also added bavgruppe switchback eyebrows and prism demon eyes!

To anyone who thinks it is hard or is hesitant on trying to open them up, don't worry it's not as bad as you think.

I will have a write up on how to open your lights this week.

Sorry for phone quality

Took a few pictures yesterday afternoon after a wash. I have a massive tree in my front yard that suited this picture!

The fact that you wrapped the car yourself with seemingly no experience is pretty impressive. The quality of work looks great as well! I don't think I would have the patience!

What are your plans for the rear conversion? Just the fender arches from that other member and the bumper, or are you going to replace the quarter?

My plan for the car as of now is to go with prior design fiberglass flares for now.

I eventually want to get the car resprayed in Dakar yellow. When that time comes I'll replace the entire quarter panel and inner fender well, but hat's another big project that will hopefully include an s55/65 when the time comes.

So basically my plan for this year (if it even works out) will be the following

Prior flares
Raze GT roof
Raze hood
Raze front and rear diffusers
Raze side skirts
Oem rear bumper
Full akrapovic exhaust
Dct gts flash with m3 gws, m drive and m shifter logic.

And possibly a GT wing but not sure yet.

All carbon parts will be forged carbon. Already been talking to Revozport about getting it done!

I noticed that your ambers were covered in vinyl on your old headlights. Did you do those yourself or did you bring it in to a shop?

thats something I want to do but i have no experience cutting out the shape of the ambers

Well, Another year has gone by and not much has changed. Past few months have been crazy ended up making another large purchase and this project seems to be halted for a while.

Have a ton of parts needing to be put on yet maybe some more body panels

While i don't have any recent photos not much has changed since last year..

excuse the stickers, I went on a local club rally last summer.

How did you get the fenders and side skirts to align so flush? Do the stock 135i skirts line up with the 1M fenders? Thanks!

yea... what's happening here? oem skirts dont match 1m front fenders... is there an aftermarket option now, or are these massaged 135 skirts?

"Massaged" 135i side skirts. It's been a while since I have been on here as I sold the car. not sure if there is any aftermarket alternatives, you can buy a set of 1M skirts and have a body shop blend them with stock skirts.

What did you to fill out the new fenders width? Are your wheel/tires really wide or is there some suspension magic happening?
