Nothing special, just a some pictures from a track event at Homestead Miami Speedway. It was a blast, heading back out there 12/10 if any locals wanna join.

Random Shot during a run

First you will buy more blue tape.... then
Magnetic numbers, then
Brake upgrade, then
Tires, then
lightweight wheels,
then more brake pads, and more blue tape,
then a 10' x 10' tent, then
fancy jack / stand / pit tools, then
tire pyrometer, then
more upgrades ..........

ask me how I know...

you are so hooked, you dont even know it yet..LOL

nice shots,

enjoy the track, learn from your mistakes, keep an open mind, learn to driv your car at its limit before modding..

as always.... keep the shiny side up

lol thanks for the heads up.. my car's actually Full bolt on, with a Cobb tune + meth.. but at the track I "untune" if that's even a word and turn the meth off.. no need yet like you said.

Also have suspension upgraded so it's allot of fun..

Already bought more blue tap
next will be upgraded oil coolers, LSD, plus all that other stuff r:

Nice!!!

I went to the track for the first time a few weeks ago with the local PCA chapter, had an absolute blast. I'm planning on going a few times next year in the spring and fall. Kudos for going - you'll never look at road cars and street drivers the same again!!

After going to the track I have actually become scared of regular road drivers, they are so unpredictable.

I agree. IMO the stock BMW 135i/335i are good to go for the track except:
-CDV delete
-RFT tires must go

Best mods = driver mods fo' sho

LSD will definitely help, and definitely some brake-related upgrades (fluid/pads/SS lines).

Looks like you already got a plan for more mods. How did your brakes and cooling hold up? You were right to disable the tune and stuff on the track ... I didn't; I have a chip/catless DP but stock everything else. It was overpowered on the track, I don't have the skills to utilize all of it. I think even stock I would have too much power. If I intended to track the car from the start, I would have skipped the power stuff and spent it on brakes/LSD.

Wish I got some pics of my track day ... no one was taking any.

The brakes held up fine, I just replaced the front brake rotors/pads under warranty.. they already had like 20K miles on them, so no biggie. The rear breaks are fine, just needed some adjustment afterwards.

Definitely looking at some Motul for the fluids, and some big break kits later on. It is such an amazing time out there, and you're right about regular road drivers now.. they suck... lol
