Massive Skyline Drive Cruise VA Nov 4th!!

Sharing this here after chris_flies posted in the local FB group, close to 200 people going so far!

Lets make this the biggest skyline drive cruise! All makes and models are invited! This will be when the leaves are the most colorful!

Invite your crew, friends, family, bring your pets, and cameras!

Lengthy description, but I want this to be well organized and not fall apart like some in the past!

We will meet in manassas and cruise to the front royal entrance, During this time on 66 im ok with us having some fun as long as you do not attract too much attention from police, and you are responsible and careful, be mindful of other drivers around you. be safe. When we are on skyline drive there will be no crazy driving or behavior, period. get that out of your system on 66.

We will meet at the regal theater in manassas at 9:00 and leave at 9:30, this will give plenty of time to do any last minute detailing and photos

once we leave we will get on 66 and head towards front royal, we will stop at the exxon right off of 66 to get gas and make sure everyone has gathered, also wait for anybody else who may be meeting us here instead of manassas. we should get there around 10:30 and will wait about 30-45 minutes or until everyone has gas and is ready to go into the park.

at the park we will go through the gates and re-gather at the dickey ridge visitor center where theres plenty of parking and bathrooms. once everyone has entered the park we will start our skyline drive cruise!

we will drive through all the fun curves, mountain roads, and the tunnel everyone loves (yes we will need some videographers to capture that tunnel footage!) to the pinnacles picnic grounds where we will have a potluck lunch, everyone bring something to share! from here we will treat it like any other car show, enjoy good food, good cars, and good company, hangout for a bit and walk around to see all the cars that made it out!

After the lunch meet/show there is no solid game plan, you can hangout and drive skyline some more, go to the lurray caverns, or head home if you are ready!

rules:
same rules as every meet you go to
just have common sense as this is a family friendly event
no drugs, alc.
no burnouts, excessive revving
dont try to show off
be safe if you do pulls on 66
bring as many people as you can!

I didn't write it but I do know a VA meet was shut down hard last year because someone was smoking weed and a cop caught the smell. It didn't end well lol

It's silly how one person being dumb can ruin it for the majority of people, who are just there to have an honest, good time on a great road with beautiful scenery.
