128 Convertible: Side flaps not closing properly.

Sorry, please close thread. This car I was looking at sold.

The flap on the passengers side on mine closes OK but the one on the drivers side does not. I can manually encourage it and it closes but if I leave it alone I don't know that it would ever close. I've left it and looked at it an hour later and it still wasn't closed. It's been this way for years.

I do not consider it to be a big deal. It could be that I was too impatient early and messed it up. But it hasn't gotten worse - or better.

Mine was like that when I got it. I soaked it with Armorall 2-3 times and they started closing, albeit slowly, by themselves.
