$15,250 for a 58K mile 6MT 2013 E88 on Cars & Bids

Just sold. Seems like a lot of money, but then I haven't watched E88s. No packages, Vermillion on black.

Yeah, I would not have expected more than $12k, but 3 people were willing to pay more than $14k.

I never expected E88s to be coveted like the coupes, especially manuals.

3 pictures of the GLOVE BOX! But NO good picture of the drivers seat-we want to see the left side bolsters. AND, looks like serious leak from the OFHG.

Insanity… no sport package, damaged headlight switch, just a base 128i convertible. Are they really that rare now?

I don't know who would pay for a no sport pack car, but I guess you can always replace suspension and seats…

Wow! Now that I can see the full-res photos, I'm shocked people were willing to pay that. It has several small problems and a fair amount of rust. The mileage isn't THAT low.

Almost a twin to mine, right down to the colors. I would never have expected this kind of value, especially for an East Coast based car.

If someone is shopping on a site like that, they have money to burn. So odds are the sale price will be inflated.
On the good side if there becomes enough the value of the rest of our junkers will go up.

Someone paid $18k for a 2000 Chevy Metro on Bring a Trailer this week. Mind you, it only had 400 miles on it. A nice little 3 banger hatch!

I forgot to check on that one after it closed. I don't care how few miles it had – unless you're buying for a museum, that's insane.

The thing to point out wasn't that it was an E88, it was that it was a 128i lol

Yea the fact that it was a 128i is surprising. I bought my 09 (Year One of the 1 08 production) 135i for 16k in like new condition with 68k miles. I bet the value is still going up on mine although im over 100k now.

I don't see how that's possible. Sounds a bit like the wishful thinking all of us owners have.

I dont see how its wishful thinking. Prices of cars new and used have gone up a lot the last year or 2. I wouldnt be surprised if i can sell it for over 10k still.

I would and did. I HATE the sport seats, my gigantic self doesn't fit in them comfortably. And the harder suspension is pointless in a convertible in FL.

I paid $16K for my 2011 e88 from a BMW dealer summer of 2020 with 46K on it, fully "ramped and stamped" with all the right stuff done already. Base 6spd with power and heated seats and moonlight top. Felt expensive at the time, but it was in MINT condition, and I did not want a project of any type. Zero issues since I have owned it.

Today, with the price silliness it feels well bought!

How about the 90k-mile 128i MSport that just went for $19k?

Came across this n51 E82 out in California. Lifestyle edition. If I recall, there was a member here who just sold his 135i lifestyle correct?

If someone wants a lifestyle but not an n54/5 this one ain't too bad for the price compared to the one OP found

I know that they're not very popular on this forum.
