OP if you like the car, take the comments into consideration and make an offer. The worst that can happen is they reject it again. From the autocheck, it hadn't been driven much its first few years.

Yes, there is a Carfax available as well and it's been dealer maintained for just about it's entire life, save it's last visit to 'Bavarian Workshop,' which makes me think the CPO warranty is no longer in effect. Perhaps due to mods?

The bummer is I'm in LA and this car is in the Bay Area so I haven't seen it in person. The dealership did send me an inspection report from a mechanic that indicated the car will soon need front brakes and rear tires.

So, some red flags and some nice things as well. I told the salesperson to reach back out to me if they want to take $26k so we'll see what happens. Maybe I'll even lower my offer if they come back....or just pass. And I wouldn't give them a dime until I saw it and drove it for myself.

I do appreciate all the opinions and knowledge and I'll keep you guys posted haha.

HAHA I didn't notice that but yea the eBay listing and the cars.com listing are both pretty laughable.
