Your right...I think the "sport" suspension is the one equipped to the 135i. I think for the price there are better coilover options available though. (Although if we are strictly speaking dealer options then of course the performance one is an interesting option)

yes I am one who didn't get HK and Ken hooked me up with the good stuff. Much better than HK now and for pretty close to the same $ too.

But, the optional OEM performance suspension comes with the full BMW warranty and would be ready to go when you pick up your new car. My list: Performance suspension Convertible top HK- not because it's the best for the money, but because it's better than than the one I have, and it's already installed when you get the car. |

Performance Suspension - only because I didn't know you could residualize it on a lease!
I can't really regret any of the "factory" options because the only options I passed on were active steering and automatic high beams.

Nope.
All I got was the M-sport package. No leather, no nav, no metallic paint. I don't even have a sunroof on my 135i. If I had to do it all over again, I'd order it the exact same way. Keep it simple, keep it light, and focus on the drive. |

Just so you know musicarNW cheapest audio upgrade is $1200 if you install it yourself. If they do it, it's close to $2000 or something like that. That's the level 1 upgrade too. I contacted them about 2 weeks ago but definitely don't have that much money to spend. I don't know if price is an issue for you, but the HK might be cheaper (I don't know if it sounds better though).
I asked Ken to maybe use cheaper speakers, amp, and subwoofer but he can't because everything has been pre-selected to fit in a particular area of the car. So he can't really recommend cheaper stuff. He was really helpful though and answered all my noob questions so props to him, even though his upgrade was way over my budget. Another thing I forgot: it depends on what year your car is too. the 2010's apparently have really shitty sound systems, like mine and that's where you need to get the $1200 level 1 upgrade. Here's what Ken said: "If you had a later 2011 or a 2009 with HiFi, I could give you a good $295 upgrade that helps the bass some and the mids and highs a lot." Only regret is not getting the 1 with manual transmission. Could have saved a few bucks and enjoyed the ride even more.
Oh well, next car definitely will be manual |

Keep in mind that the '08 models only have the Sport Package available. The M Sport package was available on '09 models and later.

Every 135 is equipped with an auxiliary port standard, but USB and bluetooth are options. There was a no-charge value package that did include the USB port on the 2010 models I believe.

I got mine fully loaded so no regrets here. I didn't go for the Logic 7 though but still got the 10 speaker upgrade which is the middle spec. It's not something I think about all the time but if I could spec again I'd go for it. Most of the time I listen to the exhaust note though If I could only choose one option it would be the Pro iDrive. Everything else comes in a close 2nd.
