Time to say goodbye
Well it's definitely been a great ride. This forum has been a wealth of knowledge and generally a great group of guys. It is now time to say goodbye though. I traded in the 128i today. I picked up an 04 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet with only 15k miles to take its place. Hopefully the Porsche community will be as welcoming and helpful as you all have. If any one is interested my 128 is at Porsche of the Village in Cincinnati, OH.

Thought I'd post up some pics of the new ride. I'm really loving it so far. The 128 was a great car but the 911 is just a completely different experience. Also I have a set of Eibach springs left that I never installed on the 128. I'll post up a thread but I'd probably let them go for $100 plus shipping.

Congrats, very nice car. A lot of people did not like the 996, but I always did!

996 gets a bad rap, but mostly from purists and "collectors" The rest of us will drive and enjoy them for the modern great DDs they are.

Congrats! I just got my self a Porsche and sold my 135i in Sept. I totally get what you mean when you say it's a different experience. So far my perception of the Porsche forums are not nearly as good as 1addicits though. Of course 1addicts is an amazing forum, so it's pretty hard to top it.

Thanks everyone. I'm loving the new car so far. I'll miss the great group here but I know I won't regret the purchase.

Thanks everybody!! Yeah I definitely know a lot of people hate the 996 headlights. I actually like them though. I think they look more modern and sleek than the frog look of the 993 before it and the 997 after it. If any of you guys are in the Cincinnati area I'd love to meet up at cars and coffee sometime. They hold it at Fuel every Saturday morning.
