I used map 6 right the way and no problem for 2 weeks but you have to use 93 Octane gas.

Add a gallon of Toluol (Toluene) to every fill up if you're having trouble getting the proper octane or just want a really high blend. Toluene is the octane additive petroleum companies use to increase the octane rating of gasoline and can be found at paint supply stores for $14-18/gal. It is most commonly used as a laquer thinner and in the handling of fiberglass (like for boats) and carries a 118 octane rating [edit: Toluene carries a 114 octane rating; Xylene, its cousin, is 118]. In the late 70's and 80's many Formula 1 teams used a blend of 80% Toluene as their race gas, for extreme timing. Lowes and Walmart do not carry it. Find a VERY long necked funnel since Toluene can dissolve paint.

If this is case, use map 4 instead which is close to map 6 anyway.

I've felt most of the MAP setups and have to say that MAP 4 has the most versatility out of all of them.
