Yes, I am. As you can tell from my signature, this is my second 128. I had 75,000 miles on my 2009 when I realized that 2013 would be the last of its kind (naturally-aspirated inline-6 and hydraulic power steering) so I ordered the 2013 car. I've been driving the "same" car for 12 years - which is more than 3 times longer than any other car in my 50 years of driving. That's how much I love it. The only reason for selling is that I now have the Porsche "itch." Very cliche but there you are.

A good picture of the drivers seat is always appreciated showing what, if any wear on left side bolsters. You have a beautiful car young fella.

MA128 I don’t blame you at all for having second thoughts and deciding to keep it for now. Bet you got a million PMs after listing. No love lost on these cars. Call them old, but man they have aged well. Especially yours. Enjoy in good health, fellow “Masshole” ( no offense).

Hope to drive by you at some point in these parts! I drive a black one myself. Only reason I’ll sell is if a 987.2 Cayman S presents itself to me.

No offense taken!

BTW I have test driven every generation of Cayman (987/981/718) including one today. Each time I hope the "magic" will present itself but it doesn't - at least for me. I can't tolerate the cabin noise (engine and tire roar). It handles well, of course, but the 718's steering isn't all that great and the engine note is in no way musical.

I started out in a 1972 Fiat 128 (hence my user name - coming full circle from that 128 to this 128) and I like my cars small, light and agile. Now that I'm older, I like them relatively quiet, too.

Cheers,
Paul

Lucky you having been able to test drive them all. I’ve always wanted a Cayman, the 09 and above. A Cayman R, really, is what takes the cake for me but alas, prices have shot up as w any Porsche these days. I got to drive a friend’s 981 GTS, what a lovely car! But yes, compared to the E82, it drove a bit “bigger.” Just a bit. Haven’t been on a 987 so cannot tell the difference.

Ah, I love the full circle story! You and me both w the cars being light, small and nimble. Those beat HP on my list any day. Add to that a sonorous engine note that’s not obnoxious - a happy man you shall be.

Hoping to come across you at some point mate, that 128i of yours is mint! Mine will pale in comparison.
