Alright - update.
I spoke via PM with E92 lighting, LUX Angel Eyes, and Top Gear Solutions regarding angel eyes. E92 Lighting was quick to respond, Top Gear Solutions was very professional, helpful, and informative to deal with. In the end I decided to go with LUX V5, LOL right, after my issues with V4. LUX contacted me, rather than me contacting LUX, and we discussed the original issue in further detail. I had tons of questions, and was patiently responded to very thoroughly and quickly, always less than 24 hours, sometimes within minutes. After further explaining the 60 day money back rebate as well as ballast positioning, I decided to take the plunge and ended up ordering 3 sets of LUX V5, one for myself and two for some buddies of mine. I am absolutely blown away at the level of customer service I've experienced so far from LUX. Even if a competitor had a product that was twice as good, I would still be tempted to buy LUX for the customer service alone. I originally ordered my V4's from Burger Motor Sports, and this is my first experience in dealing directly with LUX Angel Eyes. They are very confidant in their product, knowledgeable, professional, and quick to respond and act. I requested a paypal invoice via 1Addicts and received it, paid, and had confirmation it was received within about ten or fifteen minutes from start to finish. So far, very impressed. I will update when they arrive and with fitment in the LCI units while out of the vehicle. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edit: I also found this thread: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...php?p=17014344 Which shows LUX V5 @ 6300K (Left) and V3's (Right) in comparison to the LED eyebrow. I would imagine V5's at 5200K, or 5700K would be a near identical match. It should be noted the image below does not really reflect the light output appropriately, it shows the colour more than anything.

1.) What is the easiest way to turn off the eyebrow w/o a warning light (or make it whiter)? 2.) What white bulb do you recommend to replace the adaptive steering bulb? I tried an H3 55watt and it immediately smoked and burned out. Luckily I had it sitting outside the housing to test it first. Thanks.

2) I would stick with a stock H3 bulb for this. If they keep burning up then it would point to some other issue with the wiring or headlight

Are there no options for a white 12V 55W bulb? Those bulbs are made by a few companies. Is there a brand you would recommend as having the best chance of success? Obviously I wouldn't hold you accountable for your recommendation. Just curious which brand you would recommend to try.

Update:
LUX V5 arrived on Friday - took Customs about two weeks to clear the package. Canada Post said that location is always slow... LUX, what are you smuggling across the border in your boxes? "Angel Eyes", new street name for PCP? Anyway... LUX V5 arrived packaged well, picture below. With the new LCI headlights still loose (Don't have my baby back from storage yet ) I did some test fitting. I found a spot that should fit the lights fairly well. Very rough outline below - if this works I'll put together a full comprehensive DIY. 1. Cut this peg, and sand smooth. I cannot see any purpose for this peg with the function of the headlight, it literally is floating in mid air once the cover is re-installed. My assumption is that this is part of the fabrication process. Don't mind the crack in the upper portion of the rear cover - damage from shipping. $35 for a new cover which I would be buying anyway to replace the worn seals. 2. Fasten your ballast with double sided tape, velcro, etc. 3. Install - this is how it will line up.

I drove around tonight for about an hour, no codes, no issues with ADL's. Full crank left and right multiple times and a couple lock to locks in a parking lot.
This seems to have solved my ADH error issues. Went over two sets of rough train tracks, and several rough patches of road as well where potholes were poorly filled, hard accelerations (including a couple fish tails at 3 way stops lol), and a good 15 minutes @ 120km/h. It doesn't look like the vibrations cause any issues either They are also brighter than my V4's were and are at least perceived by my eyes to be the same brightness as stock if not brighter in direct sunlight (I didn't do a side by side comparison, just going off memory) I've got them set at 5000k and love the bright white colour! The LCI housing will be going in soon!

Pics from my camera. The digital camera was set to 'auto' and I have not altered the images in any way. Apologies for the dirty car, don't mind the massacre of bugs on the front end. The passenger side eyelid got a little washed out by the sun, but the drivers side is what it looks like for the most part. LUX V5 @ 5000K - Still no ADH errors!
