Hi, yes BMW are still doing the dealer editions but the ones you mentioned are either sold out at BMW or no longer available from BMW (G05/15/20/29). However you can still buy the dealer editions on eBay.
If you are not bothered about dealer editions, then Norev will be releasing the hobby editions soon of all those models you mentioned

The situation with the F92 is not good I am afraid. One seller in Germany bought all of the stock hence why most BMW dealers are not able to get hold of any and why BMWs systems show it as no longer available.
Does not help you at all but I was lucky in that I managed to get hold of one when they were first released and it really is an awesome model.

In terms of future models, BMW do intend on releasing fully opening 1/18 models as they are pursuing quality over quantity. Hence you will not see models of every model in the current BMW range.

If you go back a few pages, I mentioned which up coming models BMW will be releasing.

Highly appreciated yeah I saw the list and I good for most G cars minus Z4 (yeah nothing I won't lose sleep over) and Iscale 7(that heard especially since it's probably the last nice looking 7 series as the LCI 😤🤦*♂️) ok I also stumbled upon an M8 but it was just on display at another dealer and I had to do minor work on it and it seems they all have a problem with the bonnet and it would have been nice to keep one mint and the other for display also why I normally only buy dealer editions as price is great and the box looks great (not durable though) also I think it sucks for people who say buy a 330I G20 in Portimao blue but the dealers no longer have stock also sucks no more than one colour as I would have loved a mineral grey version lucky I managed to get 2 long before they discontinued it I would love to see fully opening (or even with sealed boot) M5 CS, M8 cab and gran coupe and the disfigured G80 M cars namely because despite the stupid grille they are overall the best brand new BMW amazing to drive and the most colorful like seriously BMW Individual why aren't they involved with the process here

I would love a M8 convertible but unfortunately, my contact at Munich already confirmed to me that they have no plans to make it
Maybe one of the model manufactures may decide to pick it up and the same for the M5 CS too.

The G20 330i will soon be released in Alpine White and I think Stratus Grey as hobby editions.

The G80/G82 is at the other end of the scale with lots of choice between opened / sealed in 1/18, etc. The dealer editions will be made by Minichamps and out late 2021 / early 2022 more likely.

I totally agree that there should be more individual colours on the models but I understand that they have to produce the models that appeal to most / the launch colours of the cars. The last really good BMW Individual I seem to remember was Paragon's F06 6er GC in Frozen Bronze.

For the M8 GC, I am just happy it got made and released by someone and represented well. I would rather have a model that is resin and sealed than have no model at all

Yeah for its opening I never see the point in sealed by yeah that hurt especially as minichamps M2 was a sealed dealer edition as the M8 GC by GT Spirit beautiful but seriously a sealed 😑 speaking of dealer editions what would cool is if you order an M car they give you a 1:18 fully opening replica 😅 gladly and sadly they don't I think I would have spent the same amount of money on a fully spec'ed F90 for like 100 Norev F90 M5s in like almost every spec I wished they did more colours like frozen red, sapphire black, donington grey and Snapper rocks blue unfortunately pulled off the market fast lucky I bought the first 2 in my country

Best estimates are the end of this year for a 1/18 M2 CS release though I would probably say early next year.

In case you were not aware, here are the part numbers from Minichamps (these are sealed):

Black - 155021021
White - 155021020
Blue - 155021022

1/43 are also expected.

I'm not aware of any 1/64 dealer editions of the M8 or M3 G80 being released though I do know that 1/64 is a focus area for BMW so you never know.

I had a quick look on eBay and there are quite a few 1/64 hobby editions of the M8 in various colours for about £20.00 from Paragon.

I like the 1:64 scale as well, I prefer 1:43 though and I am not keen on 1:18, there is a lot of 1:64 coming out or China but it would be nice to see some more BMW's

Wow must say despite the G80 M cars being disfigured they come in tasty 😋 colours I hope they do a frozen grey as personally I think that's the colour to go for in G80 however had they made the grille similar to the G20 as it should have been Sao Paulo Yellow and Toronto Red 😝

The Maisto Fresh Metal 1 Series may be harder to find as it is quite a few years old, you may have more luck finding a Herpa 1 Series or Matchbox 1M model
