^ not really same same..

If OP had slicks he would be pulling 1.0 60footers like this car!
which probably weighs the same and makes similar power to his 135i

SMH...I don't think we could cut 1.3 60's on a fully prepped drag 135 with serious weight reduction. The launch would be so violent, let alone the axles holding up to such abuse.

I really don't give a toss of dumb asses, jealousy is a curse

If you someone doesn't want to believe then don't, I won't loose sleep

It's funny how hissy people get over a time slip, your quite welcome to come down to wsid and try your luck and run a 1.3 sixty and see if you can.

The guys over on the U.S forum would know as they track (drags) their cars more often than your average Australian BMW owner. I was hoping it wouldn't make it over to the other forums cause It's actually quite embarrassing for the rest of us Australian guys that know what we're talking about.

Their not jealous at all Marty. They're all laughing at your stupidity in thinking you'd ever crack anything less than a 1.7 sixty in your car. You need to wake up and get out of your WSID dream. I feel really bad for you man.

My mate just spoke to Derek the Event Manager from Sydney Dragways and he has confirmed that they have been having major issues with the new timing equipment.

He said they recently changed all the sensors and they are having issues with the calibration. He also said many people have already complained about the problem and they are working on it and hope to have it resolved soon.

I guess that puts all the craziness to bed.

I finally got a straight answer out of derek, there is a timing issue with the sixty foot light beam but it doesn't effect the ET he said, ah well he finally admitted it though.

If he only admitted it in the first place when I spoke to him.

Of course it affects your ET! Have another closer look at your slip and you'll see it staring you in the face. It's all way off.

A 118mph pass is good for anywhere between 11.5-12.5. I would put your car somewhere in between this so around a 11.9-12.1.

Its pretty messed up that WSID continues to collect thousands of dollars every Wednesday on a known malfunctioning track/timing system!

Can we now all be friends?!?!

I wonder if anything can be done about it, because they should not be doing this.

What sucks he didn't want to admit to the fault last week when I asked him.

Down right deceitful on his part, I would not have bothered running the left lane in the first place.

Also what's to say the right lane is correct too, he lied about the left lane.

I hate when people lie to me, I'm the type of person that holds you to your word but if you
lie to me I can be your worst enemy.

We were always friends that share the same interest tott's. I knew from experience that there was clearly an issue (waiting for formal apology) with the equipment. I wish Marty ran 11.2, hell I wish he ran 10.99 but none of those will happen anytime soon.

Lesson to be learned here is that you can't cut a 1.6 or less short time at WSID unless you have drag radials in these cars.

If your waiting for one from me don't hold your breath its unhealthy lol, they lied I believed their word that's it. Leave it at that.

They told me they had minor issues so we are getting conflicting stories bloody liars.

So here is a time slip from the right lane with wheel spin of the line.

You can cut a low sixty foot on street tyres but not at wsid as their timing cant be trusted really all depends how well the car is setup.

The only problem the closest track outside of Sydney is over 400 km away.

I should stop wasting my time and get a vbox sport at least that's accurate within .01 of a sec.

That was good enough for me Marty. I know that was just your way of saying I should have listened to you from the start. You definitely know your SH!t. Anyway, all good no harm done bro. I'll see you out there later in spring and we'll line up for some grudge matches.

That slip looks legit and it's a great pass.
