Custom splitter for track use

Just built this bad boy out of 1/4 ABS and Osh parts, about $90 total. Hope it doesn't fall off at Thunderhill tomorrow hehe

How did it work for you? Feel much of a difference? Would love pics of how its attached on the underside if you've got them.

So the first time out to the track (Thunderhill 3 Mike with bypass) I ran a 2:11 and my best previously was 2:18, I upgraded from 245 to 255 tires up front but that was a huge increase with just tires and the splitter. According to Harry's I was pulling like 1.6gs on turn 1 vs 1.5gs previously but I have no idea how accurate that is.

Okay cool, how far back does the splitter go? 2ft? 4ft? How far does it protrude?

It's only 18 inches deep and mounts to the stock holes on the bumper + 4 additional bolts to bumper and 2 bolts to the stock undercarriage aluminum mount. Sturdy at speeds up to 130ish (fastest I hit on the track last weekend)

The strength comes from the two front mounts

Okay awesome, I'd love to build a full flat bottom to replace the factory one, and make a rear diffuser, but can't decide if I'd make it out of plastic, aluminum or what. That and finding time and motivation.

I've been considering. 1/8in ABS from TAP Plastic is cheap. Look online for specific pricing and shipping. I also want to do this.
