Hmmm, that can't be right (I hope). BMW did state production starts in March, but not heard them say a specific date. If it starts on Mar 28th, then I can see why 14 cars. LOL

Much less actually! Take 1 month off during summer shut down. Then discount for long weekends and holidays like Easter, Xmas, national days, etc. So that is probably close to 2 months of no activity. You're left with 7 clean months of production.

And let's not forget during Sept is Oktoberfest, definitely don't want a car produced then! LOL

My dealer said i was #3 on the list and he assured me i was 'safe' but will take delivery later in the year...i hope he's right. Have to come up with a backup plan now.

I was more thinking of the oktoberfest thing, but maybe they never heard of

My CA said the dealership wanted my permission to display the car for a week when it arrives. It was impossible for me to ask for anything in return, being that I am getting one at all.
