Cobb AP v3 logging issues - solved
Hi.
Having problems with the logging feature of my Cobb accessport V3. I get it connected to the car, and I can load and delete OTS maps. I can also read gauges and error codes. If I start a logg everything works fine UNTIL the car moves. It then just quits from the logging/gauge menu and disconnects from the car. I then have to stop/start the car to have it reconnected. This happens everytime I try logging. As long as the car stand still evenyting is just fine. I have been in contact with Cobb which issued me a new cable, which did not help any. Tried to contact them again, but no response so far. Anyone else had similar problems? /Johannes Last edited by arctic_fox; 07-22-2016 at 05:14 PM.. |

Update on this : Ordered a new AP from COBB, but the problems persist. The logging even quits if I let the car roll forward without any load on engine/alternator etc. It quits the logging when it has moved approx 1.5 metres.
I have checked battery voltage (12,6 V at stop, 14,55V at idle) and connections. Everything looks great. Anyone else had this or similar issues? |

Guessing that fancy all-n-one gauge uses the OBD2 port also?
Generically speaking the AP can be the only thing connected when in use.
