With the higher tuned n54s out there, anyone know of any companies that offer a diff lockdown bracket, similar to Defiv did a few years ago? clicky

Call these guys:
AD Engineering
(509) 330-5557

They fab tons of stuff for N54 cars (single turbo kits, FMIC, oil bypass thermostat). When I was there for my dyno pull yesterday they had a 335 on the lift that had a fully boxed rear diff cage mounted to the subframe. I am sure they had made it in house, as they do just about everything. I'm not sure if they can fab that for a 135, but it is worth asking. (Tell them it is the car that was on the lift closest to the fab shop when Brian was there to dyno the 1M. They should know what that means.)

Oops, missed that . . . still worth asking. If they can't ship it directly to you, I would be willing to help out. God knows what that would cost, though! Check PM.

Just heard back from AD. The bracket I saw was for their Ford 8.8 rear end conveesion kit for high HP cars. They could make something for the BMW diff, but it is not felt to be worth it. If making enough power that you need to button down the diff, you will probably break the diff soon. They sent me a nasty picture of a sheared pinion.

Ah, thanks dude, will get the diff serviced first and see how it is on the drag strip/track. Uprated bushes may suffice.

Would this fit a 1M? And I already have delrin bushings, would these need to be changed? If not, how bad would the unstall be?

Do you mean the bracket, or the Ford diff? I am pretty sure the drive shaft needs modification to mate with the Ford diff. You would need to talk to them directly to see what the install is like, but I have a feeling it would need machinist available.
