Euro Delivery Savings?

I'm really thinking hard on getting a 135i in AW . I want to go the European Delivery path but wanted to get an idea of savings. I've heard and read that you typically get 7% off MSRP but then there is wiggling room for another 3%-5%. Can someone please explain to me how this is done? Let say the 135i comes in at 35k-36k. What can my total savings be off MSRP? I guess my real question is how do you get the extra 3%-5% ? If anyone can point me to some link or just an explanation would be great. Thanks

hi there,

the extra savings are coming from the fact that you're negotiating up from the wholesale european delivery price. Let's assume that the invoice ED price is 30k, then people usually add $1250-1500 over the invoice and that's the final price. Also, if you lease the car, the lease payment will be based on the ED invoice price AND the US MSRP and not the ED MSRP, so that will save you some more money.

read this article and you will have a better idea

If you're leasing an ED delivered car, they tack on .0003% to the money factor, but they pay for one car payment to compensate for delivery to the States. It kind of washes, but it's good to note.

For purchased cars, they don't mess with interest rates, and they don't make any payments for you.
