Fender rolling question

So I had to roll my fenders to get rid of some rubbing issues I was having with my tires. For those of you that have done this, my question is, did it push the vertical lip of the fender out slightly or did I do it wrong? Im not sure anyone else would notice, except me, probably cause I know that it looks different. Any info on this would be appreciated.

Supposedly if you do it correctly and not to aggressively the inner lip will be flattened but the outer fender will not be effected. Most I've seen do get some outer lip bending, including mine which was done by Butler Tire.

I think there is a special tool to roll the fenders.

btw the 1M already have rolled fenders by default. are you talking about your 135i ?

Yes, there is a special tool that reduces the likelihood of cracking paint, etc.

However, I'm quite certain that the fenders on the 1M are already rolled.

If you're rubbing on the fender, I suspect it's really a question of wheel offset. What tires/wheels are your running?

The 1///M fenders are pretty much rolled from the factory, the 135i aren't.

With that said, here is what I did rolling the fenders on my RS4. Keep in mind those are aluminum straight from the factory (to cut weight), extremely soft, and you could f- it up it you do not take your time. Just be patient, doing small sections and then returning to them is the best approach as opposed to trying to do it all in one go. And the hair drier is key to keep things soft and not chipping the paint.
